Affiliate disclosure

SteelAndSimmer intends to be a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme (UK and, once live, US), an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon; this page and the "Ad" label are published ahead of that approval so the disclosure is in place before any link can earn a commission. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you click a "View on Amazon" link on this site and go on to buy something, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you — the price you see and pay is set by Amazon.

Every page with an affiliate link carries an "Ad" label before the link, in line with UK CAP/ASA guidance on recognising ads, and every video we publish carries the same disclosure on-screen and, in the US, a plain statement of the money relationship, in line with FTC endorsement guidance.

What this site collects

This is a static site. We don't run user accounts, and we don't ourselves set tracking cookies on this domain. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard web request data (such as IP address) as part of serving pages and basic security/analytics for every site it hosts — see Cloudflare's own privacy policy for how it handles that. The /go/ links on this site pass a short tracking code (which platform/market you arrived from, e.g. "instagram, UK") as part of the Amazon link, so we can see in aggregate which channel a sale came from; it does not identify you personally.

Once you click through to Amazon, Amazon's own privacy policy and cookies apply, not ours.
